Bus review
Wellington Regional Council is reviewing its bus services. We aren’t yet sure how this will affect Ngaio bus routes but will find out at our next NPA meeting (7 March, 7:45 Ngaio Town Hall’s Drop In Centre).
Council members are coming at 8pm to brief us, answer questions and encourage us to make a submission. Local residents are welcome to join us to voice any concerns you might have so we can represent you in our submission.
Cummings Park Library has copies of the bus review information booklet.
Council is holding a series of public meetings about the bus review, including two in Johnsonville Mall: Saturday 3 March 1pm-3pm and Tuesday 6 March 11am – 1pm.

Community Preparedness poster
How well do you know your neighbours?
Wellington City Council wants us to live in safe communities where we know our neighbours and are ready to help when things go wrong.
Last year the Council set up a Community Preparedness Grant for projects and events such as neighbourhood barbeques to help us get to know each other better.
The next funding round closes on 30 March 2012.
Wellington City Council has information on its website on how to apply and what the funding criteria are.
Ngaio Progressive Association can help local residents with applications.
