Train timetable

Many buses run through Ngaio:

  • Route 45 goes through Ngaio village.
  • Route 44 goes through Ngaio via Cockayne Rd

Rubbish collection

Rubbish collection is on Tuesday mornings.

Ngaio Progressive Association organises an inorganic rubbish collection once a year, usually in October.  It costs $5 for us to take away manageable rubbish.  Sometimes we have a stall where we sell quality items.  However, most rubbish goes to the tip in council trucks.

Posting boxes

Most posting boxes are cleared by 2:00pm.  Some are later:

Crofton Downs shopping centre - 5:00 pm

Outside dairy on Crofton Road - 6:00 pm
