Trains leave from Crofton Downs, Ngaio and Awarua St stations.

Train timetable

Many buses run through Ngaio:

  • Route 45 goes through Ngaio village and Colway St.
  • Route 44 goes through Ngaio via Cockayne Rd

Rubbish collection

Rubbish collection and recycling is on Tuesday mornings.

Ngaio Progressive Association organises an inorganic rubbish collection every year or two, usually in October.   We take away manageable rubbish for a $10 donation.  Sometimes we have a stall where we sell quality items.  However, most rubbish goes to the tip in council trucks.

Our next junk drive will be in 2012.

More on recycling in the suburbs from WCC, May 2011

Most posting boxes are cleared by 2:00pm.  Some are later:
