A vision for Ngaio

“Greater Ngaio, which includes Ngaio, Crofton Downs, and Kaiwharawhara, is an area where people of all ages are valued and nurtured in an environment characterised by the unique combination of outstanding natural beauty, heritage and built environment that is Ngaio.”

Wellington City Council published this  ‘Vision for Greater Ngaio’ after a series of community planning workshops in 2002.  It:

• Sets out residents’ expectations for the suburb
• Helps the Wellington City Council to provide services and facilities that support achievement of the vision.
