Working bee in Cummings Park postponed until September

Wellington City Council removed lots of trees from Cummings Park recently because they were getting too big. They have asked us to help replant the area. Our working bee on 30 June is postponed until July because WCC can’t deliver seedlings to community groups this week.

Meet up at the sculpture by the bridge in Cummings Park. The bank down to the planting area is very steep so we will take a track by the stream, carrying plants as we go.

Come along anytime during the morning and help as long as you like. Bring a spade if you can. Jobs are: digging holes, planting trees, and (possibly) mulching.

Coffee and cake afterwards by the Village carpark.
