SNA’s<\/span><\/strong> The good news is that SNAs on urban residential land are not<\/u> included <\/strong>in the Proposed District Plan that is notified. Instead, these are delayed for a year or so until after the Ministry for the Environment finalizes and gazettes the National Policy Statement for Indigenous Biodiversity. SNAs on rural and public land remain in the district plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the meantime, a plan to compensate landowners \u2013 potentially with rates relief \u2013 will be developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Johnsonville Railway Line<\/span><\/strong>: At the same meeting councillors voted to remove the Johnsonville Line from the list of Rapid Transit lines. this means that the walking catchments will be removed from around the Johnsonville Line stations, within which the District plan would have been required to enable buildings up to 6 stories high.
