She arrived a bit late and discovered them all sitting in the near dark with just a lantern for light. It certainly added atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>The message was \u2013 if an earthquake strikes, we are on our own. Look after yourselves, your neighbours, and your street.<\/p>\n<p>So, store water, medication, notepaper and pens, food and large amounts of CASH.\u00a0 Time magazine recommended around $500 after the Californian quakes a few years ago.\u00a0 Have two gas bottles for your barbeque since getting refills could be tricky.
