Last\u00a0 weekend he met up with John Lamb, store manager of Countdown in Crofton Downs, for a tour of the new supermarket before it opens on Thursday.<br \/>\nWards commented:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I would describe the new building as fresh, clean and sharp. The isles are nice and wide which is great for those in our community with disabilities. I was pleased to learn about the measures taken to make the store environmentally friendly such as the fridges utilizing the latest H20 technology, plans to replant the side of the road in native bush\/shrubs and the use of LED lights to name a few.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The supermarket will open on 12 December.
