This will link with a new access track into Trelissick Park from Oban Street, Wadestown. The project is being managed by Wellington City Council, with completion expected around May next year.<\/p>\n<p>The new footbridge and track will improve access from Wadestown\/Highland Park, expand walking opportunities in the Park and surroundings, as well as provide access to a new area of the Park for restoration and pest control.<\/p>\n<p>The total that the Trelissick Park Group has to find for the footbridge is estimated at $100,000, including gst and contingency. So far donations stand at around $54,000. The Group is applying for grants and has set up a &#8216;Givealittle&#8217; page at <a href=\"https:\/\/givealittle.co.nz\/cause\/kaiwharawhara-stream-footbridge-for-new-trelissick\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/givealittle.co.nz\/cause\/kaiwharawhara-stream-footbridge-for-new-trelissick<\/a>.
