<\/a>You\u2019re invited to a workshop to find out more on the Long-term Plan and let us know what you think we should be considering while developing our draft plan.<\/p>\nEvery three years WCC reviews the city\u2019s Long-term Plan. This sets the direction for the next 10 years, outlines priorities, how much it all costs, and where the money might come from.<\/p>\n
As we draft this year\u2019s Long-term Plan we have some extra demands to think about, including big infrastructure costs, earthquake strengthening, and the Central Library work.\u00a0 That means we are going to have to make some choices.<\/p>\n
We\u2019d really like your help.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n The workshop will help us get a feel for how different communities would like us to prioritise things like improving infrastructure alongside high quality sports and recreation services, or a busy programme of events, supporting start-ups, and community services.<\/p>\n We will use this feedback to help shape the Long-term Plan which will be out in the community for consultation in March 2021.<\/p>\n When:<\/strong> Monday, 30 November 2020<\/p>\n Time: <\/strong>7.30pm \u2013 8.30pm<\/p>\n Where:<\/strong> Khandallah Town Hall, 11 Ganges Road, Khandallah<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n We appreciate this time of year is busy for many.
