The following event has been organised by Wellington City Council – we urge all residents who are able, to come along, to keep up to date with the plannng that will affect Wellington Development. Monday 30 November.
You’re invited to a workshop to find out more on the Long-term Plan and let us know what you think we should be considering while developing our draft plan.
Every three years WCC reviews the city’s Long-term Plan. This sets the direction for the next 10 years, outlines priorities, how much it all costs, and where the money might come from.
As we draft this year’s Long-term Plan we have some extra demands to think about, including big infrastructure costs, earthquake strengthening, and the Central Library work. That means we are going to have to make some choices.
We’d really like your help.
The workshop will help us get a feel for how different communities would like us to prioritise things like improving infrastructure alongside high quality sports and recreation services, or a busy programme of events, supporting start-ups, and community services.
We will use this feedback to help shape the Long-term Plan which will be out in the community for consultation in March 2021.
When: Monday, 30 November 2020
Time: 7.30pm – 8.30pm
Where: Khandallah Town Hall, 11 Ganges Road, Khandallah
We appreciate this time of year is busy for many. If you’re unable to make it to the workshop, please visit our Long-term Plan website for more information and to have your say there.
