WHAT’S PLANNED Geotechnical investigation works have now been rescheduled to start in April 2019, not January as informed previously. Initial investigations revealed that borehole drilling could dislodge more material which would fall onto the road. Therefore as a preparation for drilling work, the container wall will be extended by an additional 40m uphill, which will happen in approximately two weeks’ time.
SAFETY ADVICE
There will be cones and barriers, and surfaces may be uneven. WCC asks that during work hours you keep clear of the investigation area and site container/machines, and observe all
work signs.
